HERMOSA BEACH (CBS) — Authorities Saturday were investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a woman in Hermosa Beach.
Chief Greg Savelli of the Hermosa Beach Police Department says that officers responded to the apartment in the 700 block of Manhattan Avenue about 5 a.m. following a report of an argument.
Upon arrival, police found a deceased woman and detained a man at the scene, Savelli said in a news release.
No other information was immediately available.
The woman’s name has been withheld pending notification of next of kin.
